Welcome to Wild Sauna Bakka, Gudvangen
The sauna is located in a cute little village, called Bakka, right in the middle of the UNESCO world heritage site by Nærøyfjord. It is a 50 minute drive from Voss and only a 25 minute drive from Flåm. Bakka is outside of central Gudvangen, about 10 minutes by car.
Directly outside the sauna door you can jump into the fjord for a refreshing dip. Our little barrel sauna has a panoramic window, so that you can enjoy the incredible views while you're getting warm and cosy.
The famous hikes Bakkanosi and Rimstigen start right around the corner from the sauna. What better way to end a day of hiking than a relaxing sauna session? Or you might want to visit us on an early summer morning, while your campervan is parked at some of the beautiful campsites nearby. Another idea is to visit us after your kayak tour on the fjord. To be honest, you never need an excuse to book a sauna session with us. We promise a memorable experience for all occasions. We also recommend visiting during winter time, to get the unique arctic experience.
