Are there any rules?

Yes! Most of them are just common sense, but you must read the rules at the bottom of the booking page. Also you are bound by our terms and conditions which you sign when booking, these are also available to read before booking. Please do not damage our saunas, we rely on trust to make our self service model affordable for you :). Following the rules makes sure our saunas are a safe and pleasant place for all our guests.

When should I book?

As soon as possible. It takes 1-5-2.5hrs for the sauna to reach its full temperature. So if you book at-least 2.5hrs before. Then we can make sure that it is very hot for you. When the outside temperature is above freezing 1.5hrs before is enough.

How Hot is It?

Our saunas are set to 80c. This seems to be the good middle ground that suits most sauna goers. If you love it HOT, the oven is huge, so you can add a lot of water and get the temp higher. If you prefer it a little cooler, just crack the door and let some heat out. Also fanning the air around with a towel will increase heat circulation and pump up the heat quickly. Booking 2 hours ahead of your preferred time means we can turn it on nice and early and make sure its roasting hot for you :).

Where is the Sauna?

We have two saunas. One in Voss by the lake and one in Bakka just past Gudvangen. The easiest way to get there is with Google-maps. Just type in “Wild Sauna” and they will pop up.

Did i book the right sauna?

Now there are two Wild Saunas, it can be easy to accidentally book the wrong one. You should receive a confirmation email and a text message, make sure you check your booking time and location. If you make a mistake its no problem just message us and we will fix it for you.

I love the sauna how do i get my own?

Just drop us an email. We have a great relationship with the manufacturers and can help you find what you need for your home sauna. Or if you would like to setup your own rental sauna, we can supply everything to get you going, and offer technical support.
